I just had the opportunity to read "The Brown House" by Christy Sloat. From the moment I opened the book up on my kindle I was pulled into the world of Brylee Branson and her family that not only lived in a haunted house but on haunted land. The story took me on a roller coaster ride of emotion as the history of her home was revealed bit by bit through Christy's amazing storytelling. She wove a spell over me that kept me up till the wee hours of the night reading her book wanting to know what happened and eventually, reluctantly going to bed only to pick the book up again in the morning. This is such an amazing and wonderful book that ended in a cliffhanger making you want more! I'm currently reading her other book which was her first "The Many Lives of Avery Snow" and I will review it here however I can tell that it is going to be another amazing read! I have found myself another favorite author to add to my list and I will be first in line when she releases more books!
