When Aliens Weep: An Alien Apocalyptic Saga by JK Accinni
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
I was so excited to find that JK Accinni had written another story in her Species Intervention Series. This series in general has been an emotional roller coaster and When Aliens Weep does not disappoint. I was happy that she covered much of what happened at the end of The One and gave us closure on some of our favorite characters. I was sad to leave them behind. At first I was confused as to what was happening, but wouldn’t you be if you just left a familiar world for a new one? As the story played I was drawn farther and farther into it, losing myself in that world. JK Accinni has such a vivid imagination and incredible world building in her stories. I found myself falling in love with the characters in new ways. She covers the subject of evil very well and it is in all of her books. A person falling to the power of evil, and good doesn’t always prevail. JK Accinni always makes sure that the reader knows it comes from free will. There are powerful lessons to be learned in this book about the frailties of our species, as well as the frailties of the minions. All is brought to light in When Aliens Weep.
